Mangue.Bit is an annual conference of technology, innovation and startups that takes place in Recife, organized by, the local community of startups. The project involved the creation of the branding of the event, as well as all its visual and digital visual communication.

The logo was created in partnership with Marina Mota; iconography in partnership with Leonardo Martins. All the visual applications and development of the visual identity by myself.

The Mangue.Bit brand is inspired by the statue of Giant Crab located on Aurora Street in Recife, as well as making a pun with the name of the musical movement of disruption Mangue Beat, alluding to technology and innovations.


Connections, Business and Synergy

Since the first event, visual identity has been improved through its applications and feedback from the community, arriving in 2018, at a distinct and stable levels, both visually and organizationally.

We created an illustrative family of pictograms that symbolize elements of Recife’s iconic natural and urban landscapes, as well as elements related to the universe of technology and startups.
