PNLD 2017

The proposal brought for PNLD 2017 is based on the integration of the diverse teams and staff hierarchies involved in the project, forming a competent unit and solid product. The PNLD, National Program of Didactic Book, is a program of the Brazilian federal government whose objective is to offer students and teachers of public schools of basic and secondary education, in a universal and free way, quality textbooks to support the teaching- learning developed in the classroom.

This project involved the creation of concept, visual identity and editorial project for PNLD 2017. The editorial coordinator of the project was Hana Luzia.


Created one by one, the icons used in the guides and the PNLD digital platform, guide the way and identify the landmarks throughout tbe books.




The printed book collection consists of 8 volumes, each of them with variations of pattern and color according to the palette previously defined for each of the disciplines.

Unique highlighting colors for each guide were chosen in two shade variants in order to create a pattern to be followed in the next PNLD editions and make the material more attractive for reading and handling as well as preserving visual unity.
