With a new proposal for 2018, of convergence of technologies and sustainability, PNLD 2018 – High School brings the finalization of the process of unification of digital and analog, making the books available in digital format. The PNLD, National Program of Didactic Book, is a program of the Brazilian federal government whose objective is to offer students and teachers of public schools of basic and secondary education, in a universal and free way, quality textbooks to support the teaching- learning developed in the classroom.

This project involved updating the program brand and creating new visual identity and concept for the editorial collection. The editorial coordination of the project was by Hana Luzia

Created one by one, the icons used in the books and the PNLD digital platform guide the way and identify the stops of the course with clarity and dynamism.

Unique highlighting colors for each book were chosen in two shade variants in order to create a visual pattern to be followed in the next PNLD editions and make the collection more attractive for reading and handling as well as preserving visual unity.

The new cover scheme for the 2018 collection tackles issues graphically with redundancy with the aim of making the associations between disciplines and graphic design more obvious, requiring less effort from the reader.
